  • What percentage of contributions go towards the projects?

    Your contribution less 2.9% for Stripe fees, and 1% for Reforest's operating costs is sent to the project's bank account directly. Once our charitable organization status is achieved, the Stripe fees will be reduced to 2.2%.

  • Is payment processing secure?

    Payments are processed via Stripe, which is a PCI compliant online payment processor.

  • Is my information kept private?

    As of now, only a donor's email is requested when they are making a contribution, so that an email confirmation and tax receipt (near future) can be sent. A donor's email address is never shared with any organization outside of Reforest, and any communication from organizations happens through Reforest.

  • Can I make monthly contributions to a project?

    This service is coming soon. If you would like to be notified when it is available, please contact us.

  • Can I donate land for reforestation?

    Yes, anyone can donate land to the Reforest Foundation Land Trust and the land will be protected forever and designated solely for forest restoration and protection. Please contact us and choose "Land Donation" as the subject.

  • Is Reforest seeking corporate sponsorship?

    Yes, please contact us and choose "Sponsor Reforest" as the subject.
